Wind farm Borssele
Steel constructions (over 600 tons) fabricated by RijnDijk have been installed for the alpha and beta field of the new transformer station in Borssele.
Our steel fitters are also installing the high-voltage components, such as insulators, onto the steel structures.
Electric power from the new wind farms at sea will soon come ashore in Borssele. For this connection our sister company HSM Schiedam delivers two offshore transformer platforms.
The two fields with a combined capacity of 1400 MW will enter into operation in 2019 and 2020.
