Replacement of Jetty 7
Supply and installation of the topside structure for the replacement of Jetty 7.
Scope of work Rijndijk: over 500 tons of galvanized steel structures, piping systems, and E&I.
Following the realization of Jetty 7, Koole Tankstorage Botlek also awarded us the contracts for Jetty 6 and Jetty 1.
Modular construction
Modular construction and waterborne transport
The topside structure primarily consists of pipe racks and a hose tower. Various modules connect the new concrete jetty to the land. These structures were transported by us in large modules, including piping and E&I, via water and hoisted into their final positions on-site.
The modules were assembled at height at an external pre-assembly location to allow for transport to the quay via SPMTs, after which they were transported over water using floating sheerlegs and pontoons. After installing the modules on the concrete jetty deck, all piping and E&I installations were connected, and the entire installation was provided with a CE marking.
